SUMMARY:Little Village East TIF Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) Informational Session
DESCRIPTION:Calling All Business Owners!\nThe Little Village Chamber of Commerce is joining forces with Wintrust Bank to hold an informational session about the City of Chicago’s Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF). The SBIF application period is open November 1–30 to businesses located in the Little Village East TIF district. \nThe SBIF grant is funded by local Tax Increment Financing (TIF) revenue and may be used to reimburse up to 90% of pre-approved construction costs\, with a maximum of $75\,000 for multi-tenant properties\, $150\,000 for commercial properties and $250\,000 for industrial properties. Funds can be used for new windows\, roofs\, doors\, HVAC systems\, tuckpointing\, bathroom remodeling and more\, and the grant does not have to be repaid. \nThe program requires businesses to show they have the financing to complete their projects\, such as a bank statement or a letter from a bank with a loan commitment. Wintrust Bank will discuss financing options\, and after the session LVCC and Wintrust will be on hand to answer questions and help you through the SBIF process. \nRSVP by November 3 to Jennifer Aguilar at Jennifer@littlevillagechamber.org.Wintrust contacts: Ric Porrez\, rporrez@wintrust.com\, 312-985-5156 · Steve Jang\, sjang@wintrust.com\, 773-883-4179. \nLittle Village East TIF Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) Informational SessionLittle Village Chamber of Commerce\, 3610 W. 26th Street\, Chicago\, IL 60623Thursday\, November 5\, 202610:00 AM – 11:30 AM
