Elena Durán

Upon entering her shop, Artesanias Elena”, you will be greeted by “Doña Elena”, the owner, who travels all the way to Mexico to select and bring back the handicrafts she sells.

At Artesanías Elena, you can find everything from Talavera pottery, ironwork, and cardboard crafts to retablos (altarpieces), handcrafted embroidered clothing, jewelry, huaraches (sandals), religious images, decorations, and so much more.

She has always been actively involved in the Little Village community, as an advocate and a defender of the community you can find her at her store: Artesanias Elena at 4333 W 26th St.
